Construction Management

In conjunction with our civil engineering design services, Douphrate & Associates offers construction management services on a turn-key basis for a wide variety of projects including the building of all types of residential, commercial, roads, schools, hospitals and municipal projects. DAI can not only fill the role of acting as liaison between our client and the construction contractor to conduct such services as site visits, ensuring conformance to contract documents, reviewing shop drawings, and verification of work completed, but DAI also offers comprehensive on-site construction site management services including overseeing an entire project from start-to-completion, or any part thereof, according to client needs. DAI is able work either out of our offices, or at an onsite location to ensure construction is completed on time and within budget. Services may include: • Plan, direct and coordinate construction projects from conceptual development stage through final construction. • Coordinate between owners, engineers and architects involved, including design interpretation and implementation. • Select general and trade contractors, if necessary, to complete specific pieces of a project and oversee their performance. • Determine labor requirements; hire and manage workers. • Direct and monitor all construction activities, including the delivery and use of materials, tools and equipment. • Ensure worker productivity, safety, and quality of construction. • Obtain all necessary permits, licenses, and depending on contract requirements, direct and monitor compliance with building, safety codes, and other regulations.
